Eriba Caravan door retaining clip

The door catch on my Eriba Familia 320 for when the door is open had worn down over the years, and even a slight wind would blow the door shut. I replaced it with a new catch from Kool Classics which was easy to fit, and holds the door securely. Just what was needed.

The door retainer on my Troll530 wasn't holding, a puff of wind and the door blew shut. I ordered a new one from a well known auction site and that one was no better. After three years of putting up with this problem, I thought that was how it was. I was just browsing through Kool Classics site and came across this door retaining clip. It was advertised as a lot better than the ones from that well known auction site. Well, for a tenner, it was worth a try. I was surprised that the postage was six pounds for such a small package. A few days later, it arrived. I fitted it as soon as it came. What a difference. I was truly amazed at how good this is. I thought that I was going to pull the fitting off the door as it was that strong. If your door retainer blows shut easily, this is what to go for.
